Arvind Kejriwal vs Mohan Bhagwat

Arvind Kejriwal vs Mohan Bhagwat

Arvind Kejriwal vs Mohan Bhagwat : Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, posing five questions on various issues, including the misuse of central investigative agencies and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s retirement.

Kejriwal expressed deep concern over the current state of the country, stating that he believes the policies of the BJP government are harmful to the nation. He warned that if the situation continues, it could threaten democracy in India.

He clarified that he wrote this letter as a common citizen, not as a political party leader.

  1. On the defection of leaders from other parties: Leaders across the country are being lured or threatened by ED-CBI to defect from their parties, leading to the fall of governments. Is it right to topple elected governments in this manner? Does the RSS approve of this?
  2. Corrupt leaders joining the BJP: Some leaders were labeled corrupt by PM Modi and Amit Shah, yet were later welcomed into the BJP. Did the RSS envision such a BJP? Doesn’t this disturb you?
  3. Guiding the BJP in the right direction: It is the RSS’s responsibility to steer the BJP back if it strays. Have you ever tried to stop PM Modi from doing wrong?
  4. The relationship between the RSS and the BJP: JP Nadda stated during the Lok Sabha elections that the BJP no longer needs the RSS. This statement hurt many RSS workers. What is your opinion on this?
  5. On the retirement law for BJP leaders at 75: A law was enacted to retire BJP leaders at the age of 75, affecting leaders like L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi. Is this law being adhered to now, and should it also apply to PM Modi?

Kejriwal expressed hope that Mohan Bhagwat will respond to these questions, giving the country insight into his views on these matters. He posed these same questions during a public gathering at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on September 22.
