According to M9 News, Jayam Ravi has lodged an FIR against Aarti at the Adyar police station in Chennai. He has also sought assistance from the police to retrieve his belongings from their house on ECR Road in Chennai.
The police team is currently investigating the matter further.

In a conversation with DT Next, Jayam Ravi stated, “When people try to tarnish the image I’ve built over the years, I can only laugh. It’s not easy to ruin my reputation. If you think everything came to light with the announcement, that’s not the case.”
Announcement of Divorce Out of Necessity
After announcing his divorce, Jayam Ravi spoke about the issue for the first time. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he dismissed all allegations made by Aarti as baseless.
He mentioned, “Aarti has not responded to two legal notices sent from my side earlier. Does this behavior indicate she wanted to reconcile?
Legal proceedings were already underway before the divorce announcement. I had to announce the divorce publicly due to numerous rumors were going around . I also feel accountable to my fans.”
No Connection to Kenisha Francis
Regarding rumors about dating singer Kenisha Francis, Jayam clarified that they plan to open a spiritual healing center together, and it has nothing to do with his divorce. He emphasized, “I want custody of my children, Aav and Ayaan. I am prepared to fight a legal battle for 10 to 20 years if necessary. My future and happiness are tied to my children.”
