Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh starting Sunday. On the first day of the tour, PM Modi arrived at Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur. From the stage, PM announced that cancer day care centers will be opened in every district of the country within the next three years. After this event, at 4 PM, Modi will hold discussions and an organizational meeting with BJP MPs, MLAs, and top office bearers.
In his address, PM Modi said that the last time he visited Chhatarpur, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for projects worth thousands of crores of rupees. He reminded the audience that this included the Rs 45,000 crore Ken-Betwa Link Project. He highlighted how this project had been stalled for decades, with numerous governments coming and going. Leaders from every party visited Bundelkhand, yet the water scarcity in the region only worsened. No previous government fulfilled its promises, and this work only began when the people blessed Modi with their support.
Cancer Day Care Centers to Open in Every District of the Country
Regarding cancer medicines, PM Modi stated that he has decided to make cancer drugs even more affordable in the future. Additionally, significant steps to combat cancer were announced in this year’s budget. PM Modi declared that cancer day care centers will be established in every district of the country within the next three years. He further said that thousands of doctors and volunteers are spontaneously and dedicatedly participating in this grand event of unity with a spirit of service.
